Spelling	Ask a grown up to test you on this week’s spellings. (These can be found further down the blog)
Reading	Read a section from a book. Based on what you have read so far, would you recommend the book to a friend? Explain why.

English	Take a look at the second section of the portal story that we are learning. Elf road section 2 Continue with your story map to help you remember the text. Keep practising it until you can remember most of it without looking at the words.
Topic Art	Today we are going to practice drawing circles. This might sound easy but drawing a perfect circle is rather tricky. Watch this video and have a go and drawing some circles until you manage to draw a perfect circle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_Eia4V_4wE   When you have mastered this draw yourself a nice sized circle (look at my picture if you’re not sure how big) Then use curved lines to split your circle into sections. Look at my example. We are going to fill each section using different techniques Hatching Cross hatching Use these techniques to fill each section of your circle. Experiment by changing the distance between your lines.
