We teach children how to tell the time at school in Maths lessons but the best place for children to learn how to tell the time is at home, where it can be regularly revisited and discussed throughout the day and night.

Have a look at this video that reminds you how to tell the time Click here

Here are some online games that might help to make it fun, but when learning to tell the time, it's best to do a little bit, often.

🌟 Humber Class Ongoing Task - Who is your hero?🌟

I’ve been hearing lots of people talking about their heroes recently, especially the NHS heroes on the news.

A hero is a person who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes and each of you will no doubt have a different hero for very different reasons but I would like to hear all about them.

I would like you to choose your hero and learn all about them, then show what you know in whatever way you choose, you might choose to use the computer and create a PowerPoint, Poster or piece of writing or you could create a scrapbook instead.

Be creative and take your time, this is a project for you to work on over the next few weeks rather than completed in one session.

If you complete all of this week’s learning have a look on the BBC Bitesize website there’s lots to learn on there 😊

On Friday 1st May (today) Book Trust are promoting reading with Pyjamarama

Feel free to have a look and get involved

I particularly like the list of different books they are promoting for different ages as I don't know about you but I could do with a new book to read.

Why don't you have a look and if you have read any of the books, I would love you to do a book review to share with other children to help them decide if they want to read the book.
