Bethan planned a fantastic VE day picnic for her family .
She carried out lots of research using the internet and speaking to her grandparents and came up with an authentic picnic menu and some games for everyone to play. She even followed a wartime recipe for rock buns too and they played egg and spoon races, skipping and wheelbarrow races.
