Good morning Himalayas,
If you are isolating and well enough here is today's home learning.
Maths:
Add two 3-digit numbers not crossing 10 or 100.
English:
- Poetry – read the poem Noises in the Night – think about how it makes you feel. Where do you imagine yourself when reading it?
- It is a rhyming poem and each end word rhymes - https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z3jt7yc
- Can you underline all the words that rhyme?
- Then write down as many other words that you can think of which rhyme with bed, air, shake and deep.
Science:
- What is a light source? - https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zbssgk7/articles/z2s4xfr
- Organise these different light sources into artificial light (light produced by electrical means/does not emit light naturally) and natural light (light generated naturally) into two columns. Sun, stars, lamp, torch, car headlights, lighter, galaxies, firefly, television.
- Can you think of your own to add to the column?
Spellings:
Spelling rule - suffixes of ‘ness’ and ‘ful’
Reading: Spend 10-15 minutes reading your favourite book. Get comfy, grab a blanket or your favourite teddy and enjoy!
