This half term in Music we are going to be learning some skills to help us to play glockenspiels! This is a glockenspiel:
Firstly, watch the Language of Music Video
Have a go at copying the rhythms.
Instead of using a glockenspiel like we would in school, for now you can use stamps, claps and clicks etc. (or if you’re feeling really adventurous, you could even junk model/ build your own glockenspiel!)
Have a look at the sheet music below:
Can you work out which notes are D and which notes are E? Write them above and then check the answers to see if you are correct.
Now have a go at clapping/ clicking/ stamping out the rhythm of the notes.
